We are excited to embark on the latest series of improvements to our historic campus!
In the summer of 2015, we began a major renovation of our 1929 building. Designed to honor and enhance the charm and beauty of the original structure, and to maintain the current footprint, the project will ensure a functional, flexible, and beautiful learning environment for generations to come.
Phase 1 of the project, which was completed in September 2015, included major renovations to the library and to the Second, Third, and Fourth Group classrooms, lockers rooms, and bathrooms. Important infrastructure improvements were also added to the building. Phase 2, in the summer of 2016, will see the renovation of the south wing, including the Kindergarten and First Group classrooms, and Phase 3, set to be completed in the summer of 2017, will add much-needed improvements to the east side of our Cloister building.
This "Journey Forward Together" will provide additional opportunities for our students to learn, grow, and collaborate. It is the third and final step in the transformation of the ACS campus, culminating the 1993 and 2006 building additions. Click here for a video overview of this important and exciting project.
