Biography
Kristen Teague joined the faculty of The Avery Coonley School in 2012 as a Second Group teacher. Prior to arriving at ACS, Mrs. Teague taught for eight years in public and independent schools in Missouri, including at Forsyth, an independent school in St. Louis and a fellow member of ISACS. After teaching for two years at ACS, Mrs. Teague served as the Lower School Head from July of 2014 to July of 2016. She then transitioned to the Admission Office where she served as Associate Director of Admission and Registrar for six years. For the 2022-2023 school year, she is excited to serve as Director of Enrollment. Educating prospective families about all that The Avery Coonley School has to offer is one of her favorite job responsibilities. For the past 22 years, Mrs. Teague has happily resided in Downers Grove with her husband who is a music educator in Downers Grove. Some of their favorite past times include parenting two college students and caring for their loving dog, Daisy.
